Teaching & Workshops
I have diverse teaching experience including at the post-graduate level. From a workshop about Trauma, Gender and Creativity at Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, to a lecture about inheritance of traumatic memories at Kyoto Sangyo University, to a 3-month artist residency at Northwood University teaching about art and trauma, to an artist residency at Brandeis University which included lectures and workshops on different topics in art. I ran a workshop about cultivating failure as part of artistic practice at Cal Arts in LA, as well as a semester-long workshop called “Exploring Identity though Photography” at Sonntags Club Berlin (LGBTQ emphasis), I was a panelist at Art & Activism symposium in Rotterdam and at the Busan Biennale Academic Panel and the Tate Modern, and I have given lectures at Rutgers University, Colombia University, and the National University of Kaohsiung.
